Vanilla Ice Cream - Protein Edition

Ingredients
  

  • 270 gram/ml Skim Milk 0% Ulta Filtered
  • 30 gram/ml Half & Half
  • 22 gram Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Xanthan Gum or Guar Gum

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, food processor, or using an immersion blender, combine all ingredients except for 20 grams/ml of the milk. Blend until smooth.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  • When ready to prepare, use the light ice cream setting on the Ninja CREAMi machine.
  • Once the cycle is complete, remove the mixture from the container and add the remaining 20 grams/ml of milk.
  • Use the respin setting on the Ninja CREAMi machine. You might have to repeat this twice.
  • Helpful tip: For a creamier texture, let the mix sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before using the machine.
