How to roast Spaghetti Squash
Used in many recipes for a healthy pasta alternative
Wash and dry the Spaghetti Squash
Cut it in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds. To make it easier to cut the squash: poke holes in the rind with a knife or fork. Microwave for five minutes and let cool. Then cut it in half. Preheat oven to 400 F.
Lightly brush the insides with some olive oil or spray non-stick spray.
Sprinkle with some spices such as salt, pepper, and garlic (optional)
Use a fork or a knife and poke some holes in the rind.
Place on a baking sheet, cut side down.
Bake for 50-60 minutes depending on the size of your squash.For a more al dente, bake for 35-40 minutes. Let cool. Once cool enough to handle, use a fork to scrape the inside strands out.
