Cheese Stuffed Burgers
Stuffed Burgers with melted cheese in the center. Can be made using ground turkey, ground chicken, or plant-based ground instead of ground beef.
Ingredients
- 453 gram Lean Ground Beef I use 93% Lean 7% Fat
- 4 slices of thin cheese I use Sargento – Ultra Thin
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
Instructions
- Combine everything except the cheese without overmixing the ingredients
- Shape into 8 thin patties
- Cut each cheese slice into 4 pieces
- Place a total of one cheese slice on a patty, cover with another patty. Gently seal the edges closed
- Repeat for remaining patties
- Pan-fry or grill the patties for about 4 minutes on each side.
- Serve in a lettuce wrap or your favorite burger bread.
Notes
For extra volume make the patties with chopped mushroom, bell pepper, or other veggies.
